The East-West Center(Hawaii, US)’s information session was held at 7:00pm on 10, at SFCC on the 18th floor of Korea Press Center. More than 30 guests including well-known journalists, professors, diplomats, bankers and international NGO officers joined the session. Program Manager Susan C. Kreifels said, “In April 2012, the East-West Center will host Asian Media Conference in Seoul. We will welcome experts and important figures not only from media but also from every field. It will be third media conference following after the Bangkok one in 2008 and the Hong Kong one in 2010. We are aiming very high and the Seoul Conference will be the biggest and the best.” The main objective of the conference will be good communication between individuals, regions and nations as well as respect for Asian media.”
